My Journey
I'm here to share what I discovered while going through my own sacred passage. Though I have learned many stlyes and techniques, the most important tool I have found is the connection to compassion and the infinite love that is available to us all.

Rebecca Green interweaves ancient healing arts with modern day practices of movement awareness. Her gift is the ability to work on many levels of consciousness, including energy and emotion, to trace to origin of the issue, and to create a safe holding place for growth, health, and wholeness.
Her genuine nature, creativity, humor, and caring heart help to illuminate the process, while her strength can hold, witness, and transform even the most difficult emotional experience. She guides with a light but expert hand, helping to clear what is ready to dissolve yet allowing for each soul to develop in it's own way. Rebecca studied Improvisational Movement, Authentic Movement, and was blessed to learn from Emily Conrad, founder of Continuum. She worked with Christina Amaral in Somato Respiratory Integration, which combines movement and breathing practices with experiential energy work. She also integrates the breathing practices of Ashtanga Yoga. Rebecca was mentored by Patricia White Buffalo, both independently and as part of an intensive program focusing in shamanic journeying, transformation, and awakening, as well as additional private study with healers in Native American traditions. She studied with indigenous healers in Peru where she learned to work with ceremony, herbs, and the sacred natural world. She was initiated into Andean earth spirituality by Andean Priest, Basillo Samata Apaza, studied with herbalist Walter Rojas of Chiclayo, and worked with juan Manuel Garcia, shaman / tabaquero of Huancabamba at the sacred high mountain lakes. Rebecca is also a professional musician, using sound healing such as drum and vocal tones to activate, relax, and support the process. She works with the East West Planetary Herbology method by Michael and Leslie Tierra, with whom she continues to study, combining Traditional Chinese Medicine, Ayurvedic, and Western approaches to heal the body, mind and spirit.
